Jason Ham | PIANO & Percussion

Jason Ham, a 14-year-old freshman attending Valley Christian High School, is an aspiring concert pianist who has won 1st places in numerous Piano Competitions, including the American Youth Music Talent International, Competition, Silicon Valley Philharmonic Music Competition, Salzburg International, San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition, United States Open Music Competition, United States International Music Competition, and the Northern California Young Talent Competition. He was recently invited to perform in the Gala Concert for the Winners at the San Francisco International Young Musicians Festival at Barbro Osher Hall in San Francisco. Just recently, during this summer of 2024, he made his European debut at the Solitär Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. Jason is a student of teacher Michelle Lee, who inspires him to dedicate himself passionately to musical excellence. When not playing the piano, he also enjoys playing the drums, participating in Boy Scouts, traveling, and spending time with his Goldendoodle Kona.
Lumi Kim | Violin

Lumi Kim is a sophomore and honors fellow at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California. Her musical journey began with piano lessons at the age of five, and by seven, she had added the violin to her repertoire. She currently studies under Corina Santos and Elbert Tsai in the pre-college division at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In recognition of her achievements, she won first-place awards in ENKOR Int’l Music Competition (2025), the DVC/HNU Young Artist String Competition (2024) and the Silicon Valley Music Competition (2024). Lumi is also an avid chamber musician, and her piano trio had been invited to perform at the 2025 EBMF Chamber Music Festival. She also performed in a masterclass with Stefan Jackiw. Lumi performed as part of the NYO2 (National Youth Orchestra 2) on tour to the Edinburgh International Festival (2025) and attended the Center Stage Strings program at the University of Michigan (2024, 2025). She is a member of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra and the Young Chambers Musicians. Outside of music, Lumi enjoys spending time with friends, going to church fellowship nights, and sketching in her free time.
Subin Kim | Clarinet

Subin Kim is a sophomore at Archbishop Mitty High School. She plays the clarinet and tenor saxophone with her school’s Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. Additionally, she has been a clarinetist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra since the 2024-2025 season. Subin was also selected as a member of the California All-State Honor Band in 2023, 2024, and 2025. She has received numerous awards, including 1st place in the American Protégé International Music Competition, U.S. International Open Music Competition, and Charleston International Music Competition. In the summer of 2025, she furthered her musical studies by attending the Clarinet Workshop at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Outside of the clarinet, she enjoys solving math challenges, reading novels, writing creatively, and playing golf.
Jeongyu Lee | Flute

Jeongyu Lee is a sophomore at Cupertino High School. She has been playing the flute for 4 years. Since seventh grade, she was part of the Hyde Middle School band. Her band received a unanimous superior in the 2024 CMEA Band Festival. She is currently a part of Cupertino High School’s band/marching band. Besides playing the flute, she enjoys doing competitive taekwondo and martial arts.
