Sophia Cho | Clarinet

Sophia Cho is a freshman at Archbishop Mitty High School, and has been playing clarinet since 4th grade. Sophia has participated in the All-state Junior High School Bands in 2024 and in 2025 as first chair. She currently plays in the Golden State Youth Orchestra and has received 1st place in the San Francisco International Innovative Competition. Additionally, she has participated in the Honors Performance Series as a Junior Finalist. Outside of music, she enjoys reading and listening to music.
Jesse kim | violin

Jesse Kim is a freshman at Fremont High School. He began violin studies at the age of six with Jiwon Evelyn Kwark. With a deep passion for music, Jesse has been recognized in numerous competitions, including the Diablo Valley College Young Artist Concerto Competition, USIMC, and the Silicon Valley Music Competition. He was also invited to perform at the Junior Bach Festival and has participated in a masterclass with violinist Danny Koo.
This year, Jesse also served as principal second violin with the KAMSA Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Outside of music, Jesse is a dedicated soccer athlete with MVLA Club, where he plays as a striker in the ECNL league.
Jisoo Park | violin

Jisoo Park is a freshman at Leigh High School. She started playing violin at the age of 9 and has received various achievements since then. She is the recipient of her middle school’s Top 8th Grade Musician Award, the National School Orchestra Award, and she is a founder of the Union Middle School String Ensemble. Additionally, she won first-place awards in both the Silicon Valley Music Competition and Charleston music competition in 2025. She obtained a Command Performance Award at the California Music Educators Association (CMEA) State Solo and Ensemble Festival. She has also gained awards from the 2025 EnKor International Music Competition and the 2025 Great Composers Competition. In addition, Jisoo participated in the California All-State Junior High School(JHS) String Orchestra in 2024 and had the honor of being the concertmaster for the JHS Concert Orchestra in 2025. Along with this, she was invited to participate in the CMEA Bay Section Orchestra and served as the principal violinist of violin 2. She has also participated in KAMSA youth orchestra for the past three years and is a current member of the California Youth Symphony’s Senior Orchestra. Outside of violin, she enjoys playing golf in her high school's varsity golf team and basketball with her friends and family.
